MICHAEL Jhaye Jordan and seven other players from Sacred Heart School were picked to join the MVP Sports Foundation Elite60 Developmental Camp in Manila after the Visayas region camp on Saturday at the Ateneo de Cebu campus.

Jordan, John Aguilar, Anskie Espina and Rey Tristan Fuentes were named 16-under class finalists for the camp set May 18 to 21 along with Christian Manulat of the Rosemont Hills Montessori College in Danao.

Magis Eagles Andrew Velasco and Magis Eagles teammates Andre Chua, Christian Manaytay and Joshua Fuentabella made the cut in the 18-under division along with Franz Diaz of the De La Salle Zobel of Iloilo.

“Coach Ato (Badolato) and I were very pleased with the players selected in the Visayas leg of the MVPSF Elite 60 Development Camp. I am not sure how they will stack up with the rest of the field since this is just our first leg. We will hold our Mindanao and Luzon Camps in the next two weekends.”

The Mindanao is set April 27 to 29 in Cagayan De Oro and the Luzon leg is set on May 6 at San Beda College.

The Elite60 camp in Manila will bring together the top performers from the regional selection camps organized by Eric Altamirano.
