Fil-Canadian squad beats Letran to secure No. 11 seed in NBTC knockout phase

DURHAM Crossover Canada beat Letran, 65-64, on Sunday morning in the seeding round of the SM-National Basketball Training Center League at the One E-Com Center in Pasay City.

Matthew Daves had 17 points and eight rebounds, while Tyler Garcia had 15 points as the Fil-Canadian squad secured the 11th seed in the main tournament.

Durham will take on 22nd seed University of Baguio to start off the knockout tournament, while Letran got the No. 14-seed and will face No. 19 Assumption College of Davao.

Adamson beat FilAm Sports-USA, 82-77, in the first match of the day.

Adrian Manlapaz and Joseph Podrigo had 17 points each with Manlapaz hauling 13 rebounds for the Baby Falcons, who got the No. 12 seed and will face No. 21 Notre Dame of Midsayap in the first round.

Jalen Green had 24 points and seven rebounds, with Kihei Clark scoring 18 points, and Brandon Wilson tallying 13 points and 12 rebounds for FilAm Sports, which will play No. 20 La Salle Lipa.

Damie Cuntapay had 13 points and six rebounds as San Sebastian College walloped Camp David New Zealand, 94-54.

The Staglets led by as many as 49 points.

San Sebastian secured the No. 10 seed and will face No. 23 Hercor College of Roxas, while No. 15 Camp David plays Lyceum-Cavite, the 18th ranked team.
