FIL-GERMAN Christian Standhardinger failed to attend Gilas Pilipinas practice on Tuesday, but the team still hopeful he can join the team next week.

Gilas coach Chot Reyes said if things go as planned, the 27-year-old cager will arrive in the country from Germany next week.

"I think if things materialize, he's arriving next week," said Reyes.

Gilas team manager Butch Antonio added they are still ironing out some paperworks before bringing in the Munich-born Standhardinger.

"We just wanted to gather everyone in and lay down the ground work but the real practice is going to begin next week," he said.

Also present in Tuesday's practice were Raymond Almazan, Von Pessumal, Kevin Alas, Raymar Jose, Carl Cruz, Mike Tolomia, Ed Daquioag, Almond Vosotros, Fonzo Gotladera, Baser Amer, AJ Edu, and Bobby Ray Parks.

Allein Maliksi and Mac Belo also showed up but in street clothes.
