Chiang Kai Shek College, Hope Christian High School bag twice-to-beat bonus in FCAAF semis

DEFENDING champion Chiang Kai Shek College and Hope Christian High School clinched twice-to-beat advantages in the semis of Division A while Grace Christian College and Philippine Chen Kuang High School topped their group elims in Division B of the Filipino-Chinese Amateur Athletic Federation (FCAAF) held over the weekend.

The CKSC Blue Dragons completed a six-game sweep of the 7-team group elims with a 58-51 win over the Manila Patriotic School cagers to clinch the No. 1 seed in the semis while Hope Christian wound up No. 2 after downing Saint Jude Catholic School, 66-54.

In the semis, CKSC collides with No. 4 Paco Citizen Academy Foundation while Hope Christian takes on No. 3 Manila Patriotic School in the event which has Freego as its main backer.

GCC finished tied for No. 1 with St. Peter The Apostle with similar 6-1 records but the former will go into quarters as the top seed due to its superior quotient.

GCC finished the elims in grand fashion by scoring 107-57 win over NYRS while SPAS hacked out a 64-31 win over Philadelphia High School.

Also advancing to the quarters from Group B1 are PHS (5-2) and MGC-New Life High School (5-2).

PCKHS topped its group elims following a 61-40 drubbing of Uno High School.

Like PCKHS, Jubilee Christian Academy also posted a 6-1 card but settled for No. 2.

They are joined to the semis by Philippine Cultural College and PAS which wound up with similar 5-2 cards.
