Bright Akhuetie led the way for the unbeaten Fighting Maroons with 32 points.

BRIGHT Akhuetie scored 32 points while Paul Desiderio added 24 as University of the Philippines advanced to the finals of the 2017 Republica Cup collegiate division with a 98-90 victory over Arellano on Wednesday night at the Malolos Sports and Convention Center.
