NIGERIAN reinforcement Bright Akhuete had 27 points and 20 rebounds as Perpetual Help beat Emilio Aguinaldo College, 89-77, on Friday in the Filoil Flying V Hanes Premier Cup in San Juan City.

Scottie Thompson came up with 16 points in his return to the Altas, who scored their third win in as many outings.

Thompson missed Perpetual Help’s first two games in the preseason tournament as he saw action with the Gilas cadets in the Southeast Asian Basketball Association Championship.

The Generals dropped to 1-2.
