JEAN Victor Nguidjol scored 32 points as Team Baliuag defeated Team San Ildefonso, 114-98, on Thursday in the 2017 Republica Cup commercial division at the Malolos Sports and Convention Center.

The Cameroonian, former import of the Lyceum Pirates who was drafted by Austin in the NBA D-League, exploded with 13 points in the third period while providing highlight slams to the delight of the spectators in Malolos City.

Egay Billones had 15 points for Team Baliuag, which notched its second win in three outings.

Baliuag spoiled the effort of Cedrick Ablaza, who had 44 points for the winless San Ildefonso team.
