Two Adamson teams stay unbeaten in Milcu Got Skills Elite cagefest

THE Adamson juniors squad picked up big wins to stay unbeaten in two divisions in Week Five of the Milcu Got Skills Elite Showcase basketball tournament.

Carl Tamayo had 11 points and 12 rebounds as the Baby Falcons juniors squad playing in the 25-under category continued to surprise as they upset Far Eastern University, 66-59, to claim their fourth win in as many outings.

Meantime, Enjo Serrano scored 13 points as Adamson defeated National University, 77-62, in battle of undefeated teams in the 19-under class.

The Baby Falcons grabbed their fourth win in as many outings to become the only undefeated squad in the 19-under class.

Rhayyan Amsali finished with 10 points and eight rebounds for the Bullpups, who absorbed their first loss in five outings in the tournament sponsored by Milcu and sanctioned by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas.

The Bullpups, however, remained undefeated in the 16-under division after they outplayed De La Salle Araneta University, 76-38, for a 6-0 win-loss record in the tournament also backed by Basketball TV, Gerry's Grill, Gatorade, Clyde Shoe Cleaner, Kawasaki, LGR, SLAM, Rain or Shine, Honda, Coach Athletic Trainers Tape, Secret Fresh, Mighty Sports, Nousha Kebabs and Barbeque, and FMR Bus Services.
