NEW Era University will hold open tryouts for its basketball team starting on Monday, May 2, ahead of its campaign in the 16th National Athletic Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities (Naascu).
Head coach Adonis Tierra said the tryouts are open to all players aged 23 years and under, and will be held every Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays.
Tierra said the tryouts are also open to transferees and freshmen who wish to be part of the NEU Hunters. Scholarships and benefits await successful applicants, added the coach.
