TEYTEY Teodoro lifted his team to victory on Thursday with the go-ahead basket, but he seeks some uplifting himself as he hopes to get support from his teammates for JRU to turn its campaign around in NCAA Season 92.

Teodoro gave the Heavy Bombers their second win in five games, converting on a jumper with five seconds to play to give JRU a 60-59 win over EAC.

But Teodoro was not pleased it had to come down to that as the Heavy Bombers nearly squandered an 11-point lead before he preserved the win that coach Vergel Meneses described as ‘ugly.’

“Hindi ako masaya sa ganun eh,” said Teodoro. “Lagi na lang sa huli, bumibitaw kami. Muntik na naman kami. Hindi ako ganun kasaya. Pangit pa rin.”

Teodoro led all scorers with 21 points but Mark Cruz was the only other Heavy Bomber who scored in double digits as he added 14 markers.

He urged his teammates, particularly their bench, will finally step up after JRU’s win to reach the upper half of the standings and keep their hopes of reaching the Final Four alive.

“Sa bench, wala kaming makuha tapos ilang minutes pa lang, pasok na agad kami. Kailangan din namin ng tulong,” said Teodoro.
