BRIGHT Akhuetie had 21 points and 16 rebounds as Perpetual Help returned to winning ways with a 61-55 victory over Letran on Friday in the NCAA Season 92 seniors basketball tournament at the Filoil Flying V Centre.

Akhuetie’s double-double effort lifted the Altas to their third win in five outings, atoning for a loss to San Beda on Tuesday, while snapping Letran’s four-game winning streak.

Perpetual Help also got support from Gab Dagangon and Jeffrey Coronel, who tallied 14 and 13 points, respectively.

After scoring 40 points on Tuesday, top gun Rey Nambatac was limited to 19 points as the Knights slid to a 4-2 win-loss mark.
