BEN Adamos continues to deliver for San Beda in the absence of import Donald Tankoua, helping lift the Lions to the No. 1 spot in the NCAA 92 Final Four.

The 6-foot-6 Adamos has been doing very well in the past month since Cameroonian import Tankoua went down with a knee injury and on Tuesday came up huge anew as the Lions downed the Chiefs in the playoff for the top seeding.

Adamos had 14 points, including six straight to open the fourth period, six rebounds and four blocks in almost 26 minutes of action.

Coach Jamike Jarin was all praises for Adamos.

"Well, Ben is coming into age," said Jarin. "As long as he keeps his feet grounded, sky is the limit for this young man."

Tankoua earlier said the Lions can rely on Adamos, and the rookie from Albay thanks the Cameroonian import for helping prepare him for battle.

"Siya nagpalakas ng loob ko," he said.

"Kinakausap nya ako kapag timeout, sinasabi nya na pag di ako tumulong sa team walang mangyayari kaya parang nagiging mindset ko tumulong talaga."
