COLLEGE of Saint Benilde-La Salle Greenhills beat Perpetual Help, 87-62, on Friday to claim its first win in the NCAA Season 91 juniors basketball at the Filoil Flying V Arena.

Ricci Rivero had 22 points and nine rebounds before being ejected for his second technical foul, but his departure  couldn't stop the Junior Blazers from posting their first win of the season.

Rivero was a member of the Philippine 3x3 team that competed in the last Under-18 world championships.

CSB-LSGH actually beat Letran in its debut on Tuesday, but the win was forfeited after three players wore jerseys that didn't conform to the league's policy on uniforms.

The three players wore jersey No. 20, 27, and 28, contrary to NCAA rules limiting the players to jersey Nos. 4 to 19.

Alain Madrigal, one of the players who wore incorrect jerseys before switching to No. 12, had 15 points while John Mallillin had 14 points and nine rebounds for the Junior Blazers.

Arellano beat Lyceum, 97-88, in the other juniors match on Friday morning.
