Scottie Thompson notches sixth triple double of season in Perpetual rout of Benilde

SCOTTIE Thompson notched another triple-double as University of Perpetual Help System Dalta trounced College of Saint Benilde, 70-47, on Friday in the NCAA Season 91 seniors basketball tournament at The Arena in San Juan.

Thompson finished with 21 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists for his sixth triple-double of the season as the Altas improved to 10-4 (win-loss), enhancing their hopes for a place in the Final Four.

The PBA-bound Thompson came up with another all-around effort for Perpetual Help in the wire-to-wire victory that was all but settled after the Altas outscored the Blazers, 40-19, in the first half.

Jonathan Grey had 14 points as only five players scored for the Blazers, who fell to a 3-12.
