NCAA games on Friday postponed due to Tyhpoon Kabayan

THE NCAA has postponed its games for Friday due to the effects of typhoon Kabayan in Metro Manila.

NCAA Management Committee chairman Melchor Divina of host Mapua made the announcement following the suspension of classes in most parts of Metro Manila particularly in San Juan where classes from all levels have been called off.

Make-up dates for what should been the penultimate game day of the elimination round of Season 91 will be announced on a later date.

Postponed on Friday are matches between San Sebastian and Jose Rizal University, Mapua opposite Emilio Aguinaldo College, and Perpetual Help and Letran. The games have been moved to Thursday.

JRU, Mapua, Perpetual Help, and Letran are still in contention for the semifinals.

Letran is in first place with a 12-4 record, followed by San Beda, which lost to Arellano on Friday.

Perpetual Help, Mapua, and Arellano are in third place with an 11-6 record, while Mapua is half-a-game behind with a 10-6 mark.
