NCAA also postpones scheduled Saturday basketball, chess matches

THE NCAA has continued to make precautions amid the weather disturbance brought about by typhoon “Mario”, postponing all sporting events also on Saturday.

Already shelving the basketball and table tennis matches on Friday, the league has suspended the basketball games at The Arena in San Juan and chess tournament at the Rizal Memorial Complex.

It will be the third time in a week the league has suspended its matches after postponing the events last Monday owing to typhoon “Luis”.

Meanwhile, the table tennis matches scheduled on Friday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium has been moved on Monday at the same venue.
