LA Salle Greenhills defeated San Beda, 82-78, on Tuesday to keep its unbeaten slate in the NCAA Season 93 juniors basketball tournament at the Filoil Flying V Centre.

Joel Cagulangan had 25 points and scored crucial shots in the endgame as the Junior Blazers hiked their mark to 3-0.

Albert Bordeos also proved to be thorn against his former high school team as he finished with 12 points, four rebounds, and five assists, while new recruit Inand Fornillos added 10 points, 10 rebounds, and four blocks for the Junior Blazers.

Peter Alfaro and Josh Tagala had 14 points each for the Red Cubs (2-1), who was also coming off a close win over Lyceum in their previous match.

In other results, Aaron Fermin had 17 points and 24 rebounds as Arellano survived Jose Rizal University, 80-79, in overtime.

The Braves climbed to 2-1, while the Light Bombers fell to 1-2.

Kiefer Cordero finished with 21 points, while Kobe Monje had 18 points and 12 rebounds as Letran defeated Emilio Aguinaldo College, 85-81.

The Squires improved to 1-1, as the Brigadiers slumped to their second consecutive loss in as many contests.
