GUILMER De la Torre shone anew for Arellano as the Braves kept their NCAA Season 92 juniors lead with an 87-75 rout of Letran at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

Dela Torre scored 30 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Braves, unbeaten in five games.

He also had three triples in the payoff period as the Braves pulled away from the Squires, to the delight of coach Tylon Darjuan.

“Automatic na 'yun na talagang 'yung bata na 'yun, parang ang tinuro namin, ihanda sarili mo hanggang college,” said Darjua, who is bracing for a tough match against also unbeaten Mapua (4-0) on Monday.

The Squires fell to 2-3.

Perpetual Help downed San Sebastian College, 57-45, for its second win in five outings.

Jielo Razon led the Altalettes with 13 points and eight rebounds.

Kenneth Villapondo had 13 points and 11 rebounds for the Staglets, winless in five outings.
