ARELLANO continues to boost its lineup with transferees from other colleges as the Chiefs are set to obtain former Philippine youth player and Far Eastern University cager Arnie Padilla.

Sources told the 6-foot-2 son of former PBA player Onie Padilla has committed to a move to Arellano after seeing limited action with the Tamaraws over the past two years.

Once the transfer becomes official, Padilla will joins fellow transferees Bonbon Batiller, Ian Alban, and Joseph Gabayni in a rejigged Arellano side that lost Jio Jalalon after last season.

Batiller has been recruited by Chiefs after he was dropped by University of the East in the UAAP, while Alban and Gabayni are coming off stints with Lyceum in the NCAA.

The transferees will all undergo a one-year residency with the Chiefs.

Padilla joined FEU in 2014 after playing for Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu, but the former Under-17 national team member failed to make it to the Tamaraws' regular UAAP lineup.
