AARON Fermin had 25 points and 23 rebounds to lift the Arellano Braves over the Emilio Aguinaldo College Brigadiers, 81-70, in the second round of the NCAA Season 93 juniors basketball tournament on Friday at The Arena in San Juan.

With the win, Arellano improved to a 6-7 win-loss card, while the EAC-ICA Brigadiers dropped to 1-12.

Coming off from three straight losses in the second round, Arellano bounced back by dominating the rebounding department, 58-36.

The Braves built a 20-point lead in the opening quarter through Fermin’s efforts and continued to dominate in the game to secure their sixth win in the season.

Siguro kung maistraight (win) namin yung mga susunod naming game may pag-asa pa kami,” Dar Juan said.
