MAPUA is promoting Froilan Reyes from Red Robin to Cardinal for the first season back of coach Chito Victolero this NCAA Season 102.

The returning mentor confirmed the news that the 6-foot shooter was moving up on Wednesday.

Reyes, who hails from General Trias, Cavite, steered the Red Robins to a semifinal finish in Season 101 where he averaged 17.0 points on 33-percent shooting from deep, 6.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.2 steals.
He also powered Mapua to the Division 2 crown in the 2026 Smart-NBTC National Finals, uncorking 15.3 points on 30-percent clip from distance, alongside 7.7 boards, 4.2 assists, and 1.8 steals to be hailed as the Ato Badolato Most Outstanding Player.

Aside from him, also committing to the Cardinals is big man MJ Bernabe.
The 6-foot-4 banger from Bulakan, Bulacan manned the frontline for the Red Robins last season, tallying 9.2 points, 7.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.1 steals.
His contributions were also valuable in Mapua's conquest in the NBTC, racking up 6.8 points, 5.2 boards, and 1.3 assists.
The two are expected to be immediate contributors for a rebuilding Cardinals team for Season 102.
