Streaking Lyceum looks to seal No. 2 spot as Pirates battle San Sebastian Stags

LYCEUM has its eyes set on clinching the second semifinals spot when it battles San Sebastian on Tuesday in the NCAA Season 95 seniors basketball tournament at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

Winners of six straight, the Pirates have a chance to lock up a top two spot with a win at 2 p.m. against the Golden Stags.

Topex Robinson says the Pirates remain a work-in-progress despite the 12-3 record.

"We still want to continue improving everyday, and we can't wait to have another reunion of sorts against San Sebastian," he said as he leans on the twins Jaycee and Jayvee Marcelino, and Cameroonian big man Mike Nzeusseu.

    San Sebastian, meanwhile, is intent on staying in the top four as it enters the match in high spirits with an 8-6 win-loss card following a 62-59 win over JRU.
