WINNERS from opening day, last year's finalists San Beda and Lyceum seek to sustain their good starts in the NCAA Season 95 seniors basketball tournament when they return to action on Friday.

The Red Lions battle listless Jose Rizal University at 12 p.m., while the Pirates take on the hapless Emilio Aguinaldo College at 4 p.m. in another loaded triple-header at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

San Beda ushered in a new era with a 59-46 win over Arellano last Sunday, with the new backcourt of James Canlas and Evan Nelle showing the way.

Meanwhile, Letran coach Bonnie Tan and Arellano bench tactician Cholo Martin both seek their first win with their new squads when they cross paths at 2 p.m.

Jerrick Balanza and Kent Salado would like to both follow up their strong debuts, albeit this time, they'd also want to get a W with it.
