DEFENDING champion San Beda and preseason power Jose Rizal University’s highly-anticipated first encounter in NCAA Season 102 will have to wait a little longer, as unplayable conditions inside the Playtime Filoil Centre on Friday have resulted in game cancellations.
The Heavy Bombers and Red Lions were actually already going at it, with the former leading the latter, 9-3, before action was halted at the 5:25 mark of the first quarter due to leaks reaching the hardwood.

Not long after, the San Beda-JRU clash was called off, while the second game of the day between Letran and San Sebastian will push through as scheduled at 5PM, according to commissioner Atty. Rico Quicho.
