SAN BEDA rolled to its sixth straight victory after edging Perpetual, 57-53, in the ‘NCAA on Tour in Season 93 on Thursday at the Altas Gym in Las Piñas City.
Clint Doliguez led San Beda with 11 points, including the go-ahead three-pointer that gave them a 55-53 buffer before Robert Bolick brought the team home with a pair of free throws with 6.9 ticks to go.
San Beda improved to a 7-1 card, while Perpetual dropped to 3-6.
"Even if it's an ugly win, I'll take that," said San Beda coach Boyet Fernandez.
Bolick was struggling almost the entire match as he went 2-of-13 from the field and turned the ball over eight times in 31 minutes of play.
But the crafty playmaker made up for his mishaps when it mattered most, draining the pressure packed, game-sealing shots from the foul line in the dying seconds on his way to 10 points to go with 11 rebounds and seven assists.
Jomari Presbitero had nine points, while making back-to-back three-pointers in the final three minutes to give San Beda the momentum, 51-49.
Gab Dagangon dropped 17 points, including key baskets down the stretch for the Altas, who missed three of their last five shots from the foul line.
Prince Eze had 11 markers, 17 rebounds, three blocks, while Keith Pido also scored 11.
