SAN Beda joined Lyceum in clinching a twice-to-beat advantage in the NCAA Season 94 as it slaughtered Arellano, 90-52, on Thursday at the Filoil Flying V Arena.

Javee Mocon powered the Red Lions to a 38-point beatdown - the highest margin this season, beating Lyceum's 113-79 win over the same Chiefs squad in the second round.

Mocon drained five threes as the Red Lions blasted the Chiefs from the get-go and only picked up from there, showing that they're starting to peak right when it mattered.

The win pushed the Red Lions to 15-1, once again moving at the top of the standings , a half-game ahead of the Pirates.

"Our goal for this game is to win this one. We still don't know what the future brings. With a win, we didn't know if we would clinch twice-to-beat or just be in the top two. We still have two games and we still need to be ready," said San Beda coach Boyet Fernandez.

"At least kung twice-to-beat na kami, we will consider the rest of our elimination round games as playoff games. The teams are in the Final Four are really strong, just like what I said during the pre-season. Again, we are happy to be in the top two but we still have two games to go," he added.
