MIGHT as well call it 'Barangay Perpetual.'
On Tuesday, longtime Barangay Ginebra assistant coach Richard Del Rosario was introduced as the latest addition to the coaching staff of Perpetual Altas ahead of the centennial season of NCAA men's basketball.

Del Rosario, who is Tim Cone's first assistant at Ginebra, showed up at the Altas gym in University of Perpetual Help System Dalta (UPHSD) main campus in Barangay Pamplona III on Tuesday for his first practice with the team.
He joins fellow Ginebra deputy and newly installed Perpetual coach Olsen Racela and Gin Kings star Scottie Thompson, who is the assistant team manager of the Altas.
Completing the Altas coaching staff are Joshua Del Rosario, Jam Lipae, Gerald Dizon, Junior Altas head coach Joph Cleopas and former head coach of the seniors' team Myk Saguiguit.
Racela likes what he sees
"I like what I'm seeing, maraming material players and I like the program na from high school to college headed by coach Joph and coach Myk, I see a lot of potential players from high school to seniors team," Racela said.
"Maganda ang lineup and I'm really hoping that we can compete in this coming NCAA season."
Racela started running practice for the Las Piñas-based team on January 11, confident of turning the Altas into title contenders after the school fell just short of the Final Four last season with a 10-8 record.
