RENZO Navarro has been spotted attending practices of Lyceum, sources told SPIN.ph.
Sources said the San Sebastian guard began appearing at LPU practices this week after playing for the Stags in the NCAA basketball tournament last season.
A photo posted on Instagram by LPU star CJ Perez on Thursday even had Navarro in the background.
When asked about it, Lyceum coach Topex Robinson denied Navarro has already transfered to LPU, but admitted the former Batang Gilas guard is trying out for a spot in the Pirates' lineup.
“He is trying out with us but he is not committed yet as he is still looking at his options,” said Robinson.
Navarro played for La Salle at the start of his college career but returned to San Sebastian where he played high school ball after one season.
He emerged as the third-leading three-point shooter for the Stags with 25 and averaged 6.5 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 3.3 assists as a back-up guard in NCAA Season 93.
Navarro was also named MVP in the PCCL Metro Manila qualifiers earlier this year.
