A MANAGEMENT group is interested in taking over the Perpetual Help men’s basketball team.
A source told SPIN.ph that Phenom Sports Management is looking to manage the Perpetual Help program with Stevenson Tiu being groomed as the Altas head coach.
Jax Chua is the head of Phenom Sports Management and could act as the team manager of the Altas if the group takes over the program.
The NCAA team's program is facing a reboot after Frankie Lim confirmed that he is no longer the head coach of the Altas after two years in charge.
The sports program of the Las Pinas-based university is currently struggling to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic as it deactivated its athletic program.
Phenom is also handling the careers of Mark Nonoy and Deo Cuajao, who recently moved to La Salle following their departure from University of Santo Tomas.

Tiu and Chua are also part of the Basilan Steel squad in the MPBL. The Steel reached the Lakan Season Southern Division finals against the Davao Occidental Tigers before play was stopped due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tiu is a decorated coach who led the Hope Christian High School basketball team to numerous championships. He once led Jumbo Plastic Linoleum to the PCBL title a few years ago.
Tiu also led BRT Sumisip Basilan-St. Clare to the PBA D-League Foundation Cup 2019 title, beating Marinerong Pilipino in the championship series.
