FOR helping lift Perpetual Help over Arellano, Edgar Charcos has been chosen Collegiate Press Corps NCAA Player of the Week.
With the score tied at 73, the veteran guard drained the game-winning floater with 3.4 seconds left for a 75-73 victory.
That snapped Perpetual's three-game losing streak in the NCAA 95 Men’s Basketball Tournament.

Charcos was picked over Letran's Larry Muyang, CSB’s Jimboy Pasturan and JRU’s Chester Jungco for the weekly plum handed out by scribes covering the beat from print and online.
Charcos scored six of his 15 points in the payoff period, on top of five assists and two rebounds.
The Altas improved their win-loss record to 2-3.
