PERPETUAL Help became the first team in two seasons to beat Lyceum in the elimination round as it came away with a thrilling 83-81 win in the NCAA Season 94 on Friday at the Filoil Flying V Arena.

Prince Eze scored the game-winning tip as time expired, dealing the Pirates their first loss following an amazing 30-game winning run in the elims.

Edgar Charcos scored consecutive baskets to tie the game at 81 with a minute and eight seconds left in the game before MJ Ayaay turned the ball over with 11 seconds remaining.

This set the carpet for Eze's heroics as he cleaned up Tonton Peralta's miss to give the Altas the win.

"You know, to hold LPU, a very very strong team, down to just 13 points in the final quarter is something else. I have to give it to my guys. They really delivered," said Frankie Lim after the game.
