NOAH Lugo has returned to Mapua after spending one season with Lyceum, according to a person close to the team but refused to be identified.

Lugo will undergo a one-year residency following his transfer from Lyceum to Mapua.

Lugo was a star point guard of Mapua in the high school team’s run to the 2014 NCAA juniors finals where it lost to San Beda in three games. He later took his act to Lyceum.

The 5-foot-9 Lugo, however, noticeably gained weight during his time with the Pirates, although a source said the former Red Robin is now back in top shape.

Lugo averaged 12.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 2.1 steals for the Red Robins in 2014.

Mapua is in need of a point guard after Darell Menina decided to sit out the coming NCAA season. It is not yet clear when Menina will return to the Cardinals.
