WEEK 2 of Season 93 of the NCAA seniors basketball tournament saw Lyceum staying in the top spot of the team standings with a 3-0 win-loss record. There were also thrilling games with Arellano winning in overtime, Jose Rizal University coming through in the clutch to take a win, and Perpetual Help finally nailing a victory on the road.

The JRU guard finished with 17 points, seven rebounds, and four assists for the Heavy Bombers on Friday against Letran. More importantly, Mendoza nailed a crucial three that gave the Kalentong-based cagers a 65-62 win over the Knights to bounce back from their overtime defeat against Arellano on Sunday.
The Altas officially got their first win with a 63-60 win over Mapua on Thursday at the Cardinals' home gym in Intramuros. A stellar performer in the win for the Las Pinas-based cagers was Eze, who had 11 points and 21 rebounds against an Allwell Oraeme-less Cardinals.
Rey Nambatac had an all-around game against Emilio Aguinaldo College where he churned 14 points, nine rebounds, five assists, and three steals for the Knights in their 83-80 win over the Generals. But talk about efficiency for Ambohot, who had 15 points, seven rebounds, and two blocks in only 15 minutes of play.
The Pirates continued their winning ways with a 78-73 victory over San Sebastian. Leading the way was Perez, who also had a complete statline of 20 points, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals, although the former Stag cager had eight turnovers.
The most thrilling match in Week 2 was the match between Arellano and JRU where it reached overtime and the Chiefs nipping the Bombers in the extra period, 73-72. Providing the heroics for the Chiefs was Salado, who drained a floater with 0.2 seconds in overtime to win the match. He missed two free throws in regulation that would have sealed the win but made up big time for the flubbed attempt with the game-winning play.
