PERPETUAL Help zoomed to its fourth straight win in the NCAA Season 94 after a wire-to-wire 88-71 win over Mapua on Friday at the Filoil Flying V Center.
Kim Aurin and Jielo Razon set the tone early for the onslaught as they momentarily took the fourth spot in the standings with a 9-5 record.
College of St. Benilde (8-5) and Letran (9-4) are currently playing also-ran teams as of writing time.
The pair combined for 25 points in the first half, with the rookie Razon draining four threes in that stretch as they quickly pulled away from the Cardinals early.
"Well that's the target actually. We want to keep on winning para umabot sa Final Four. We have two more games before we face Letran and San Beda. We are playing Baste next week then EAC. Those games are must-win games," said Frankie Lim.
"Yung last game namin against JRU then now Mapua, if we lost one of those games, balewala yung panalo namin sa Lyceum. I'm giving full confidence to them to perform better in each game," he added.
Aurin finished with a game-high 23 points and four assists as Razon continued his stellar performance with 19 points and six rebounds.
Prince Eze finished with a double-double of 17 points and 15 rebounds. Edgar Charcos finished with 12 points, five rebounds, and six assists for the Altas, who haven’t lost a game since he returned to action.
