THE NCAA is in search for a new look as it starts a new century.
The oldest collegiate league in the country has opened a logo making contest on Wednesday.
The competition is open to all Filipino citizens, may it be individual or a team of three, with the design embodying “true spirit of NCAA: sportsmanship, excellence, and unity.”
It also sets parameters with only a maximum of five colors, which is adaptable in both full-color and monochrome.
The NCAA said that it will select the top five designs, with the entries being placed for public voting, and the winners taking home cash prizes.
It’s almost two decades since the NCAA did a rebrand, with its current logo introduced back in Season 82 in 2006.
The league is expected to select the new logo in time for the new athletic year in NCAA Season 101.
