Jun 20, 2017

THE NCAA has identified six schools that will host basketball games in its effort to bring the league closer to its fans for Season 93 which opens on July 8.

Arellano University, Mapua, Letran and Emilio Aguinaldo College will hold NCAA On Tour games in Manila, Perpetual Help in its Las Pinas campus and San Sebastian in its Cavite campus.

Senior and junior games will be held at the schools on Thursdays, according to NCAA Management Committee chairman Fr. Glynne Ortega of host San Sebastian.

"We just want to put back the identity back sa mga schools kaya namin gagawin 'yan. This is what we call igniting the solidarity of the member schools in the league," said NCAA management committee vice chairman Jeff Tamayo of Perpetual Help in Tuesday's Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Forum at the Golden Phoenix Hotel.

Despite having one of the bigger school gyms among the NCAA teams, San Beda has declined to host games.
