INCLEMENT weather has once again washed out an NCAA gameday.
The league made the announcement of the games postponement on Tuesday through NCAA Management Committee (Mancom) chair Peter Cayco of host Arellano following the suspension of classes in Manila and San Juan.
Metro Manila has been placed under signal No. 1 as Tropical Depression Jenny intensified.
Letran (5-3) was supposed to face St. Benilde (5-2) at 12 p.m., with Blazers coach TY Tang serving his one-game suspension.
Also slated were duels between San Beda (8-0) and Mapua (3-5) at 2 p.m., and Arellano (2-6) against San Sebastian (4-3) at 4 p.m.
Juniors division games were also postponed, besetting the duel between the San Beda Red Cubs (7-1) and the Mapua Red Robins (3-5) at 10 a.m., and the faceoff between the Arellano Braves (5-3) and the San Sebastian Golden Staglets (2-5) at 6 p.m.
The games are likely to be played next week with the first round already on its final two gamedays.
