LOOKS like San Sebastian continues to be the biggest winner of the collegiate offseason, getting another promising prospect for its grand rebuild.
Already armed with a handful of recruits ready and raring to make an immediate impact, the Golden Stags added NCAA Season 100 juniors Mythical Team selection Jhuniel Dela Rama onto their rejiggered roster.
Dela Rama, a 6-foot-2 forward, won a championship with Letran in Season 99 before busting out into stardom a year later with per game counts of 12.6 points in 48.8-percent shooting on top of 9.2 rebounds, 1.7 steals, and 1.1 blocks.

On the back of his breakout, he was adjudged as the 14th-best under-19 player in the Philippines by the NBTC. He was also selected as an NBTC All-Star.

For Dela Rama, joining San Sebastian just in time for its planned-for return to relevance is all about personal growth.
"Masaya po akong maging part ng Baste. Sa tingin ko po, mas matutulungan pa po nila akong mag-improve," he told SPIN.ph.
Baste's bravo offseason
Dela Rama is the latest big fish caught by first-year head coach Rob Labagala, supported by a new backer in Red Dynasty. NBTC All-Star MVP Ian Cuajao, another NBTC All-Star in Jevy Hinoguin, NU-Nazareth School big Gab Nepacena, and Gomez de Liano brothers Jordi and Jaime had earlier committed to be the Golden Stags' new building blocks for the future.

All will be eligible to play in Season 101, with playmaker Paeng Are and Tristan Felebrico still at the head of the charge.
