UNIVERSITY of Perpetual Help battled back to snatch a win from Letran, 73-61, on Wednesday in the NCAA Season 99 men’s basketball tournament at FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan.
Down by four points at the start of the fourth frame, the Altas finally took the lead, 60-59, for the first time in the game after a shot from beyond the arc by Jelo Razon with 6:40 minutes left.

Christian Pagaran's three-point play clinched Perpetual's fourth win in 10 games as Letran stayed at the bottom of the standings with a 1-9 record.
Rookie Angelo Gelsano stepped up in the second half to finish with 10 points before fouling out in the final 1:07 minutes.
Marc Nitura led the Altas with 17 points, seven rebounds, and two assists, while Art Roque finished with a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds to go with three assists.
Paolo Javillonar scored 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds while Vince Cuajao contributed 11 points, 1 rebound, and two assists for the struggling Knights.
