THE NCAA Season 93 games set for Friday at the Filoil Flying V Arena were shelved anew due to the bad weather being caused by Typhoon Gorio.
Three games will have to be pushed back in the schedule that was supposed to pit Emilio Aguinaldo College against Perpetual Help, Lyceum and Mapua, and Arellano and St. Benilde.
It will be the second straight game day that had to be cancelled due to heavy rains after the NCAA on Tour match between San Sebastian and Jose Rizal University was postponed last Thursday.
"Due to bad weather and suspension of classes, and for the welfare of our students and supporters, NCAA games tomorrow July 28 (Friday) are cancelled," said Fr. Glynn Ortega of San Sebastian.
The City of San Juan, where the venue is situated, has already declared suspensions on all school levels, as did the local governments of other cities in Metro Manila.
