THE Grand OI' League has a new home moving forward.
Cignal and the NCAA announced a two-season partnership starting with the NCAA Season 102 set for September which will be hosted by San Beda University.
Recently, the NCAA ended a five-year partnership with GMA - leaving the oldest collegiate tournament in the country without a broadcast partner.
That didn't last for long as Cignal came in and took the NCAA in - marking the first time since before the pandemic that both the NCAA and the UAAP, the two biggest collegiate tournaments in the country, are under one broadcaster.
"We’ve long been eyeing the NCAA to be added to our growing ledger of sports properties. Here in Cignal, we are sports and we welcome you to your new home," said Cignal chief Manny Pangilinan.

Cignal will carry the league's marquee events and provide full live coverage for the men's basketball and women's volleyball tournaments as well as the cheerleading competition.
They will air live on Free TV, Pay TV, Digital Streaming & Social Media. This multi-platform broadcast of Cignal ensures that NCAA games are accessible on any device, and available for both local and international fans.
"We are delighted to find the best home for the NCAA with Cignal and we're overjoyed to begin a new chapter in the storied history of the league," NCAA Policy Board president Fr. Aloysius Ma. A. Maranan OSB said.
"We believe this collaboration will strengthen Philippine sports and we look forward to a fruitful and meaningful collaboration with Cignal."
