MIGS Oczon's value to St. Benilde couldn't be any more emphasized than with how big of a difference he was for Game Two of the NCAA Season 98 seniors basketball Finals.
The sweet-shooting guard drained four treys for his 15 points and added seven rebounds, and two assists in the Blazers' 76-71 win over the Letran Knights on Sunday that sent the best-of-three finals to a decider.

More than his treys, it was his turnaround jumper in the final 20.2 seconds of the game that made the biggest impact for the Blazers in the must-win match.

It's these contributions which CSB sorely missed in Game One where Oczon played only two minutes before sitting out the rest of the game after suffering a sprained ankle.
And he's just glad to be back especially with the stakes this high.
"I also want to give credit to our strength and conditioning coaches who helped me recover sa injury ko," he said, noting that h was about 95-percent and is expecting to be in the pink of health come Game Three.
Oczon, though, isn't letting himself to be too high after this win as he pursues CSB's first championship since 2000.
"Happy kami na we're not eliminated yet, but we know that job's not finished," he said.
Momentum is certainly on the Blazers' side now, but Oczon knows that much like the team's approach in this Game Two, one can't be too complacent.
"Anything can happen for Game Three. We have to stay ready, we have to prepare well knowing that they're the defending champions," he said. "We played two games na sa finals so hopefully that's enough championship experience for us."
