    Lyceum eyes fourth straight win as Pirates battle Altas at Perpetual Help

    LYCEUM stakes its three-game winning run when it visits Perpetual in Las Pinas when the NCAA Season 95 seniors basketball tournament finally resumes on Thursday.

    The Pirates have not seen action for two weeks now after games were rained out.

    That gave Cameroonian big man Mike Nzeusseu more time to recuperate his jammed left index finger, ahead of the 4 p.m. tiff.

    But rust will be the biggest issue for coach Topex Robinson and the 4-1 Lyceum, which has not been in action since July 26 when it blasted Jose Rizal University, 95-77.

    Perpetual, meanwhile, is coming in high after a confidence-boosting 75-73 win over Arellano, with Edgar Charcos nailing the game-winning floater.


      It was an uplifting victory for the Altas as they halted their three-game losing streak to rise to a 2-3 slate.

      But is that shot of momentum enough for Perpetual as it aims to deliver the goods on its home floor? Coach Frankie Lim will have his work cut out for him in the duel.
