AT long last, George Diamante is officially headed towards his rookie season with the Letran Knights.
The 6-foot-4 forward is set to play in the seniors division in the upcoming NCAA Season 102 seniors basketball tournament, as confirmed by coach Allen Ricardo.
"Makakalaro na rin sa wakas," shared the mentor, as he gets another familiar face for Letran's redemption tour this year.

Diamante, a two-time juniors champion with the Squires, averaged 12.4 points, 9.0 rebounds. 3.6 assists, and 1.2 steals in his senior year in high school to be named into the Season 99 Mythical Team.
Rookie veteran
Though his commitment to Letran was never in question, the Davao City native was forced to the margins of the roster for a while due to academic woes delaying his entry to college.
"Ngayon, handa na yung bata. Alam natin yung capacity niya and ang maganda is alam na din niya yung expectation ko at ng teammates niya sa kanya," said Ricardo.

Having just turned 21 years old, Diamante reunites with his former Squires teammates led by Titing Manalili and Syrex Silorio, as they attempt to replicate their success now with the Knights.
