MINIMAL resistance was all Letran saw as it breezed past San Sebastian, 99-62 on a rainy Friday afternoon at the Filoil Ecooil Centre in San Juan.

Despite the dominant win, Letran coach Allen Ricardo believes his squad could've fared better.
“For me, im not yet satisfied with how we performed,” Ricardo said.
“Alam kong may mas maiimprove pa sila. Andun yung effort, yes, pero di lang yung effort. Kailangan doblehin pa nila yon para maging second nature,”
Letran’s fast-paced and flashy play was on full display yet again, which was orchestrated by Jonathan Manalili’s 14 points, nine assists, and five steals, albeit havin a sour trade-off of eight turnovers for the second-year playmaker.

“If I were to rate it 1-to-10, with 10 being the highest, nasa 3 palang ako. One thing I always preach is that we need to convert those numbers, kasi reward yon galing sa kanila,” Ricardo added.
Kevin Santos paced the interior with seven rebounds and three blocks despite the quiet scoring night, while George Diamante had 10 boards of his own as they rise to 2-0.
Khit Barroga and Matt Acosta were the only Stags in double-figures at 15 and 10, respectively, with the latter adding eight boards as well in their second straight loss of the season.
