LETRAN is still at the thick of things this NCAA Season 95, but that doesn't stop the Knights from building for the future.
The Knights are already bolstering their squad with the entry of Joseph Brutas and Joshua Ramirez for next year's men's basketball wars.
Brutas, 20, is a knockdown shooter from Diliman College who averaged 11 points on a 31-percent shooting from downtown, to go with 3.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists during his run with the Blue Dragons in the 2019 PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup.
He has two more years of eligibility left with the Knights.
He has kept his game sharp with his stints with Mindoro Tamaraws in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) and with the Caloocan Supremos in the M-League.
On the other hand, the 19-year-old Ramirez was formerly a part of the Gilas Youth squad and has been the main gunner for the Squires this past season.
The 6-foot-4 swingman averaged 13.1 points, 5.4 boards, and 2.1 assists for Letran as it finished with an 8-10 card in this year's juniors' basketball tournament.
He is expected to be a key piece of the Knights' program moving forward after committing to stay put at Muralla.
The arrival of Brutas and Ramirez couldn't come at a better time for Letran with Jerrick Balanza and Bonbon Batiller set to graduate at the conclusion of the current season.
