LETRAN added two new weapons for its title-retention bid for NCAA Season 96.

Former Gilas Pilipinas Youth player Rafael Go and Perpetual shooter Yuki Kawamura have committed to the Knights.

Coach Bonnie Tan confirmed the development, saying that the two have already enrolled in Letran.

"Nakausap na namin sila bago mag-pandemic at gusto talaga nila pumasok sa Letran," the soft-spoken mentor said on Saturday.

Go, 19, is a standout from Chiang Kai Shek and has been a staple of the national youth team.

He posted 8.2 points on 52-percent clip, on top of 6.8 rebounds in the Philippines' gold medal triumph in the 2017 SEABA Under-16 Championship here.

The 6-foot-4 forward was also with the Gilas Youth in the 2017 Under-16 Asian Championship in Foshan, where he normed 2.0 points and 3.0 boards.

Go and Kawamura are coming in as rookies eligible to play five years for Letran.
