KIEFER Ravena sure is making good use of his free time these days.

Serving an 18-month suspension by Fiba after testing positive for three banned substances, the PBA rookie sensation weighed in on the news that the NCAA is set to ban foreign players after the upcoming Season 95.

Ravena first retweeted a post by a fan comparing the foreign student-athletes to Filipino players who make their marks in foreign leagues, triggering comments by other fans, some of which Ravena replied to.

Replying to a comment by a fan who said that disallowing foreigners in the NCAA would give more opportunities for local big men, Ravena aired his piece from what he said was a 'competitor's point of view.'

“Great point. But what if our local bigs took it as a challenge instead of an excuse of them not being able to play? Just from a competitor’s pov,” Ravena said.
