THE NCAA Management Committee has forfeited Perpetual Help's victory over College of Saint Benilde in Tuesday's seniors basketball match after the Altas played wearing the wrong uniform.

In an official communication, Mancom chairman Fr. Glynn Ortega of host San Sebastian said Perpetual Help clearly violated a league rule when the Altas wore their dark uniforms instead of the light ones assigned to the team for the match against the Blazers.

The Altas won the game, 69-65, but the Blazers immediately put the match under protest.

The league said such violations merited a forfeiture, citing Rule 4.3.2.1 Section 20 of the league by-laws that states, "Any athlete whose playing uniform does not conform with the rules. First offense: Ineligible to participate in a given game/match."
