EVEN before his collegiate career could start at St. Benilde, big man Jeremiah Pangalangan has taken his act to Letran.
Sources confirmed that the 6-foot-9 center from Pampanga has transferred from Taft to Muralla weeks before the NCAA Season 95 seniors basketball wars begin.
Pangalangan, a 20-year-old prospect who had moved from La Salle to St. Benilde, was supposed to play his rookie year this season with the Blazers.
He even suited up for the Blazers in preseason tournaments, including Go for Gold-CSB in the 2019 PBA D-League where he averaged 4.7 points and 1.6 rebounds in seven games.
But a change of heart led him to the Knights, where he'll have to redshirt another year before finally getting to play in NCAA Season 96.
Pangalangan, though, will have the luxury learning from Letran's battle-tested bigs in Larry Muyang, Jeo Ambohot and Renato Ular before suiting up next season.
